"On 14.10.2020, in compliance with all recommended epidemiological recommendations of the Institute of Public Health, a second press conference of the EU Project "Slavonski Brod port infrastructure construction and upgrade"was held at the Port Authority of Slavonski Brod.
The topic of the press conference was "The importance of the project at the national and global level" with an emphasis on the importance of the TEN-T network, which was discussed by Mrs. Duška Kunštek, Assistant Minister from the Directorate for Inland Navigation of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Discussion was about main goals of the construction of the port of Slavonski Brod, the importance of the TEN-T network and the position of the port of Slavonski Brod in the context of the TEN-T network.
The implementation of this project aims to upgrade the infrastructure in the port of Slavonski Brod, develop networks of road and railway connections of the port with the region and increase the capacity of transshipment, and thus the transfer of goods to other countries."
