Project progress 30.04.2023.

Port Authority Slavonski Brod is implementing project: „ Studies and project documentation for the dangerous cargo terminal in Port Slavonski Brod.“ This is the first project of its kind in Croatia, and the primary goal of this project is to create a study, project, and tender documentation for the construction of a dangerous cargo terminal that will create preconditions for more dynamic growth of activities and ensure better technical conditions in the Port Slavonski Brod.
During the last quarter of the project implementation, all the necessary documentation was obtained to begin the process of environmental impact assessment by the competent Ministries, specifically: a Confirmation of compliance with spatial planning documentation and a (positive) Preliminary evaluation of the acceptability of the intervention for the ecological network.
In addition, a Risk identification workshop for the dangerous cargo terminal was held on February 17, 2023, in Slavonski Brod, which resulted in the Risk identification report. The Risk quantification report is currently being developed, the conclusions and recommendations of which will be incorporated into the study and project documentation.
Regarding the Feasibility study, the Cost-benefit analysis document will be submitted at the beginning of May, which will assess the financial and economic impact of the project.
As for the environmental documentation, the start of the environmental impact assessment process is expected soon.
