PROJECT: STUDIES AND PROJECT DOCUMENTATION FOR THE DANGEROUS CARGO TERMINAL IN PORT SLAVONSKI BROD

The Public Institution Port Authority of Slavonski Brod is implementing the project " STUDIES AND PROJECT DOCUMENTATION FOR THE DANGEROUS CARGO TERMINAL IN PORT SLAVONSKI BROD". The project implementation period is from 16.08.2021. to 31.07.2024. The project was approved for co-financing and a Grant Agreement was signed between the Port Authority of Slavonski Brod and the European Climate Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). The value of the project is € 1,032,200.00 + VAT. The project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) in the amount of a maximum of 85.00% of eligible costs or 877,370.00 euros and the rest is provided from the state budget.
The mentioned project includes the preparation of studies and project documentation for the construction of a terminal for dangerous goods in the port of Slavonski Brod.
The project will result in an environmental impact assessment study and an environmental impact study, including obtaining a decision on the acceptability of the project, preliminary, main and detailed design, with an expert review of the main project and obtaining a location and construction permit, as well as cost-benefit analysis. The Project will also prepare tender documentation for the works, supervision, management and visibility of the project Construction of Dangerous Cargo Terminal.

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT:
The main goal of this project is to prepare study, project and tender documentation for the construction of a terminal for dangerous goods that will create the preconditions for more dynamic growth of activities and ensure better technical conditions in the port of Slavonski Brod.

CEF TRANSPORT
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for transport is a financing instrument for the implementation of European transport infrastructure policy. It aims to support investments in the construction of new transport infrastructure in Europe or the rehabilitation and upgrading of existing ones.
CEF Transport focuses on cross-border projects and projects aimed at removing bottlenecks or bridging missing links in different parts of the core network and on the comprehensive network, as well as horizontal priorities such as traffic management systems.
CEF Transport also supports innovations in the transport system to improve the use of infrastructure, reduce the environmental impact of transport, improve energy efficiency and increase safety.
