On 15.03.2021, in compliance with all recommended epidemiological recommendations of the Institute of Public Health, a second press conference of the EU Project "Slavonski Brod port infrastructure construction and upgrade"was held at the Port Authority of Slavonski Brod.
The topic of the press conference was „Explanation of project management at the Port of Slavonski Brod", and the goal was to bring the process of work closer. The project management was presented by Mrs. Anamarija Buljan, representative of Extructa d.o.o. as Assistant Project Manager
Buljan points out that the management of the project is divided into several phases, and she pointed out the three most important ones:
- The preparatory phase is extremely extensive. This phase is extremely important because of the eligibility of the costs of the presentation and the plan.
- The initial phase is considered to be the most important phase and it requires:
- to prepare the entire documentation which, as Buljan points out, Client “Port Authority of Slavonski Brod” did excellent on this project.
- The facilitator is obliged to ensure the coordination of all experts and participants. It is important to communicate procedures, forms, reporting methods, arranging coordination meetings, getting acquainted with the rules of financing and reporting from the very beginning.
In the 3rd Final Phase, it is important that all costs and all activities are closely monitored and demonstrable. Namely, the project remains at the disposal of the client, who must later prove that he has done everything planned and in a transparent manner.
