The Port Authority of Slavonski Brod is implementing the „Studies and project documentation for the
dangerous cargo terminal in Port Slavonski Brod“. This is the first project of its kind in Croatia, and
the primary goal of this project is to create a study, project, and tender documentation for the
construction of a dangerous cargo terminal that will create preconditions for more dynamic growth
of activities and ensure better technical conditions in the Port Slavonski Brod.
During the second half of 2024, the following activities were carried out:
- Obtained a Decision on Environmental Acceptability of the Project, issued by the Ministry of
Environmental Protection and Green Transition, dated November 20, 2024.
- Initiated the procedure for obtaining a Location Permit before the Ministry of Physical
Planning, Construction and State Assets
- Prepared a working version of the main project with all accompanying elaborations
- Prepared the final version of the Feasibility Study
- Obtained the Approval of the Port Authority of Slavonski Brod on the prepared traffic-
technology elaboration, dated December 16, 2024.
The process of obtaining special conditions and connection conditions from public authorities is
underway, followed by administrative steps to obtain permits (location, building).
