In Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Slavonski Brod, public presentation and press conference was held of the already started large infrastructure project - "Construction and improvement infrastructure in the Port of Slavonski Brod ”co-financed from European funds, more precisely from CEF program.
The project was presented by Mr. Marijan Jurić, Director of the Port Authority of Slavonski Brod, Mr. Vjekoslav Janković expert associate of the Port Authority of Slavonski Brod, Mr. Stjepan Bošnjaković Deputy Mayor Brod-Posavina County and Mr. Josip Bilaver, Assistant Minister, Ministry of the Sea, Transport and infrastructure. The presentation was attended by representatives of businessmen, the business community, journalists and the general public.
The importance of the project for the city of Slavonski Brod and for the whole County was discussed at the event with special emphasis on the fact that this is a project that is an integral part of TEN-T networks.
After the press conference, a visit to the construction site was held with the aim of informing interested the public about the current state of works.
In addition to the program held at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, an information program took place in parallel public at three locations in the city where 3 information stands were set up.
Citizens could be informed about the current schedule of works as well as about the activities planned in next period.
